Sunday Mornings

Our Sunday Services take place at 10.00am & 6.00pm

We'll gradually be finding our way back this summer/autumn following our extended break from in-person services. The content of our services will depend on various factors, not least how comfortable people feel mixing again after so long, but overall, our 10.00am service is generally an informal service of praise, prayer & teaching. The music is led by a band, & although some traditional hymns are sung, most of the songs are modern & contemporary. We share in Communion once a month or so, whilst there are sometimes baptisms as part of the service. Our 'Sunday Stars' groups for children & young people take place each week during the service. It is a very friendly & mixed gathering - services tend to finish around 11.30am, followed by refreshments.

Our 6.00pm service is a new addition to our Sundays. There's a different style of service each week, including times of prayer, sung worship, sharing of testimonies, commuion, discussion & teaching. There'll be more details to come from September onwards, so do please check back nearer the time.

If you're planning on coming along to St John's, we like to think you'll be made to feel very welcome! Recordings of the talks are available here. And if you're new to St John's, or church in general, do please click here for more of what to expect the first time you visit us...
